Poly Flower is a laser cut project, creating jewellery using the laser cut method of production. For this design I decided to use polypropylene as the main material which I could experiment and explore its capabilities.
In designing this piece of jewellery I didn’t want to be limited to a 2D form, so I was inspired to create a flower in a three dimensional form. Through much testing and experimenting I was able to create a one piece pattern, when folded together would then form a flower shape. Using this same pattern I was then able to introduce different styles and ways of wear.
